Firstly, a little take-off of the last Dacota at Ysterplaat airfield. The last one just got a beautiful paint job and then crashed in the Drakensberg. Tragic, tragic accident. I do love the view from my flat :) I also did a bit of sewing (something non-white for a change) OK, technically this last one is cream, but it does not look like it in the picture. I also had a make-over  And just to prove what a difference that made, here is a picture of half-on half-off :)  I also had some adventures and met with friends, went to a wedding, Went to an old-fashioned drive in and started knitting on a table cloth, which, if you follow me on Instagram or facebook, was unpicked quite a bit last night due to a dropped stitch that was decreased a few times and thus unravelled down, down, down. I saved it, finally, but had to undo about a week's worth of work.  I am quite a bit further than in this picture, though.  ...

The weeks have gone by in a flash. This is what I was up to.... Sewing milla's wedding dress - does she not simply look stunning??  I also then did some patterns for a friend and samples. I will make one or two of these for myself (since I have the patterns!) In additon, I sewed a dance dress (for which I am awating photos). I also celebrated a milestone birthday. Thank you EVERYONE who made my day special and who spoiled me with an array of gifts. I love you all. I even got a TREEEEEEEE. And of course, what is a birthday without a cake? Thanks to "Melissa's" for baking.

My "fairy" Godmother sent me a card for my birthday, which I got yesterday. She hit the nail - or is that the pin? - right on the head with this one.

I supplied the cake muffin and Cathy the candle. Thank you, guys
