I have received an awesome giveaway. I was asked to review this digital scrapbooking software. It comes via MyMemories.com. I think it is so much better than having to sit and stick things down and then not being satisfied with the results. I always tend to overdo things. And I can ammend once I am done.

I have kept things fairly simple in this little version:




I have made use of only a very samll selection of the features of the programme. You can even add music. Once you have played and are ready to print, just print directly or convert to JPEG and voila! The backgrounds are preset, but you can also buy extra kits from their website and get even more creative.The layouts are also very varied, with lots of little pictures per page, or one big one, or a combination, as you can see with the sunsets. All elements can be shifted and changed. In this way you can create your own templates and use in other albums. The borders are darkened to inidcate where ther printer way cut off the page (or not print at all). You determine the size of the album.

To all who supported me in planning Raoul's and Hannah's wedding a BIG thank you. I couldn't have done it without you guys. To be honest, I brought it on myself, when I asked all of you to pitch in, but I did not anticipate all the extra sewing way back in April. Also, come to think of it, I now know where to hire table cloths for much less than the usual price, where to have flowers done (thank you Lehane and mom), what the buttonhole pins cost (to pin the flowers to lapels) and that simple is often more effective than a big hoohaa. Oh, yes, the correct boning arrived two weeks after the last post, and I could use it in Hannah's dress after all. Finally :)

A good few years ago, my friend H went to visit her family in the states and her mom was generous enough to part with some of her stash. I blogged about the start of the quilt a while back (In february last year - go figure) and then the top wound up in the cupboard, since I was so busy sewing for other people Well, this year marked a new season, and I finally have finished it :) Doing the happy dance right now Thank you H and M.
